Episode 622, Yorktown, abandoned ship.

Last time, though three of the carriers of the Japanese strike force were out of commission,

the fourth, the hero, force were out of commission,

the fourth, the hero, was able to launch an attack against the American carriers.

It was their good fortune to find the lone carrier Yorktown of Task Force 17 to the north of Task Force 16,

made up of the Enterprise and Hornet.

And though only seven Cape bombers made it close enough to attack out of the original 18 launched,

it was enough to strike true at the American carrier.

Three hits, two near misses.
