Barons. This is the podcast where we talk to people for and or from the Midwest. And this

week, my guest is from Evanston, Illinois. Does that make him a fib? We're going to find out

in this Krebscast. Actually, we talk extensively about that. My guest is Anders Holm, who many

of you know from workaholics. He's a co-creator and star of that and also a million other things,

including champions, the Mindy project. You've also seen him on the big screen with Robert De Niro

and Anne Hathaway in the intern. But more important than that, he's a Wisconsin badger, ladies and

gentlemen. That's right. We went to the same college together. Got a lot of badgers on this podcast.

It's a lot of fun. So Anders and I actually met in, ooh, I think it was two years ago when the

badgers were in the Rose Bowl. We were at this sort of a meeting of the badgers. We all

brought a big haul and hung out in there. Charlie, that's a hilarious joke. You should be a

comedian full time. Anyway, we start talking on Instagram recently. I split into Anders DMs.

You know, and long story short, he's now a guest on the Krebscast. So super excited to have him.

Anyway, so that's coming up in a second. What else is going on, Charlie? Well, thanks for asking

Charlie. I'm recording the audio book this week for the Midwest Survival Guide. And let me tell

you something about recording audio books. It's really hard when you're bad at reading, which I'm

finding out I'm bad at reading. You never know how many words you can't pronounce or mispronounce

until you read your own audio book. Also, city names for anything not in the Midwest. I'm just a

lost cause. I actually would have written an entirely different book if I knew I had to say

everything out loud. But that's okay. I still think it's a better book knowing that I didn't have

to read it out loud because then anything over three syllables, I just would have I wouldn't

put any of it in the book. So it all works out. But long story short, I think I've spent
