And welcome to the 62nd episode of the Nauticast entitled The Iron Rose, an analysis of a Game of Thrones, Tyrion 8, in which Tyrion has yet another frosty conversation with his dear old dad, meets the woman he'll murder at the end of book three, and then gets knocked out by a hammer, thus missing the battle. Oh, wait, that's the show.

No offense, they didn't have the budget to bring

the Battle of the Green Fork to Life in season one, but books don't have budgets, so we're going to

get to dive into the real deal. Oh, yes, we will. And don't worry, guys and gals, you're not having

a stroke. We've switched our usual roles for this episode. As Tyrion 8 has a big-ass battle and our first big-ass battle in The Song of Ice and Fire,

one that I've kind of written one or two things about over the years.

We thought it makes sense if Emmett would handle the synopsis duties for this episode,

and for me to kind of anchor the depth section with all that military strategy stuff,

I love so much.

Plus, you know, it's kind of fun to shake things up once in a while, right?

Absolutely. You know, I love going through the dock the way we usually do and doing our little

bits throughout the week, but this was really fun to change things up and like it was like

exercising a different muscle to try to do the synopsis section instead. And I know you felt

the same way about the depth section. I think we both did a great job, frankly. I think we did a great job, too.

I am very excited to do this, man.

It's going to be a lot of fun.
