Welcome back to the Hardwood Hustle. Sam and I, and today we're going to talk offensive

actions.

You know, there's so many actions in offense, and the NBA just continues to get more creative

every single year with different types of actions.

And you've seen basketball evolve over time and, and defenses get

good at guarding one type of action. So they start going to different types of actions. They work

at different paces and different types of actions. And we're going to just break down a few of those.

And really most importantly, on how you can help your team get more efficient offensively. You know, Sam,

we were, I think, the third most efficient team in Division II basketball. We were the six

most efficient team in all non-D-1s this year. And, you know, we were like in the top 20 and any

level of basketball, like offensive efficiency. And, you know, look, I think a lot of that

honestly goes to shot selection, shot generation,

being able to create the right types of shots and your players being able to take the right

ones and pass up other ones.

But another key to that, too, I think, is sometimes defining or determining what actions

that you want to be good at.

And sometimes coaches think about offense like this.

Well, all right, I think I like this action.
