Hello, everybody. So good to be here.

I'm super excited about this episode.

As you can see our opening here is with the legendary infamous and famous Flora

McDonnell and we have been talking about this lady for many seasons previous to this.

She's such an iconic figure in Scottish history and we were all just super aware of Flora and her story and we just knew that we had to get it somewhere in into the

outlander season. She's mentioned in the books, but I don't think they go into a huge amount of detail about

Flora and her story.

Yeah, but she's mostly introduced at the party in the book, but we wanted to show the story of her,

yeah, essentially rescuing Bonnie Prince.

Yeah, way back from when the Bonnie Prince

was actually in our episodes back before Kaladin

when we were meeting the Bonnie Prince

and read, you know, all about the history of his campaign and

and collodin and all of that. We were all very intrigued by the story of his escape and

especially the details of him and the boat posing as an Irish made of Betty Burke.

We were just like, that is fantastic. We have to use this somewhere and we talked even way back then about a way to slip it in somehow in the earlier seasons and we just it didn't fit back then. So, you know, here in this season we thought, you know, with the party coming up and the

Flora event, here's where we're going to play it and use it as a cold opening of this episode.
