in the same timeline, but she goes even further back as far as like the running culture goes

show, she had her blog and garnered a huge following people who related to her writing on

running for Crohn's disease and life in New York City, I would say. And so those people

followed her over to her podcast. And since then, she has grown it to really a massive show and a huge community.

She is a race announcer.

She hosts live podcasts and she's done some broadcasting work as well.

She works closely with the New York Roadrunners and the Boston Athletic Association.

A couple of years ago, Allie was diagnosed with

breast cancer and shared her journey through that and really kept working a lot throughout that

entire time. I know that her community of friends and also listeners of the podcast really

stood beside her and lifted her up during that

time and continued to do so. And we talk about that in this podcast. She's the mother of one.
