I stood out on the front porch for about a half hour this morning, just standing there and drinking coffee, and saw a lot of our neighbors.

They'd walk out into the yard and wave and smile.

And then we went down to vote and we stood in line for a little bit over an hour and saw some people we knew, saw some other people that seemed like they were in a good

mood and happy to see us and they smiled and waved and we waved back and then we went to a local

restaurant here in east Nashville to have a little bit of lunch afterwards and ran into a few friends

there saw some other people but people were waving and smiling and laughing and we came back home and it just felt like a really, really nice morning in East Nashville.
