Excited to bring you this conversation with Taylor Rowe, who recently won the 2025 USATF Half Marathon Championships,

running 67 minutes, 22 seconds on a very tough course in Atlanta. It was over a minute personal best

time for Taylor. And this was a surprise victory, I think, for many. Taylor has mentioned in many

post-race interviews, she was aiming to make that team. And winning this race was not necessarily on the radar, but dang,

she made it happen. Along with Taylor, Emma Grace Hurley, and Amanda Vestry, who have both recently

been on this show, made the team as well. So we're sending a team of three very strong athletes

to the world championships in the half marathon. Taylor runs

with Puma Elite here in the Raleigh Durham area, which is exciting because for me, I live

in the Raleigh area. She is coached by Alistair Craig, Amy Craig. She actually debuted the

half marathon in Houston. We get to talk about that, running her

first half marathon and then going ahead and deciding to run in the half marathon championships.

Taylor loves the track. So she's definitely headed back to the track right now. As we speak,

she's going to be hitting the 10,000 in some races she ran for oklahoma state

university where she was an NCAA indoor champion she was a 2023 big 12 champion in the 5 000

and she was runner up second place in the ncdama cross country championships in 2021 coached by Dave Smith at Oklahoma State

and gives him a lot of credit to where she is today in her career she was also eighth at the

US Olympic trials in the 5,000 last summer and we all know that this story is headed to a marathon eventually for Taylor.

But she is going to try her best, I think, to see how long she can wait that out.
