This is Marianne Sullivan.

And we are so excited that you are joining us this week because this is a very special

week for us and hopefully for you. We will be reading a John Yunker original play called Veganish.

You might remember John Yonker as the playwright of another radio play we performed called

Sanctuary, which we were able to do a few years ago at New York City's Symphony Space and

air it on the podcast. Actually, we air it every Thanksgiving because it's Thanksgiving themed.

And because it's just so good.

And we're so good.

And let's face it, I'm so good.

Well, you are the only one from Sanctuary that has no acting training and you're a superstar.

It is true.

John is also a superstar.

He is one of our favorite writers and creative souls.

And we were so excited when he contacted us to ask if we'd be interested in performing on the podcast, the play Veganish, which begs the question, what happens when a vegan celebrity gets caught eating an animal-based meat hamburger?

Marianne and I, along with John and his partner, Midge Raymond, a prolific writer in her own

right, who has also been featured in the past on our show, will be performing the radio

play, and then we'll be all having a chat together about something I'm very passionate about,

the use and importance of creative expression as a means of animal activism.

I'm super excited about this.

And I know that my enjoying things is not the main purpose of this podcast.
