So excited to share a conversation with Amanda Vestry.

She is, let me just tell you, she's a very easy person to interview.

I have a lot to say about what her goals are with running and how she kind of shifted her

mindset recently. I loved hearing the way she talked about her goals and how she views the

sport right now. She just ran such a fantastic time and race in Houston at the Houston half.

She ran 6735. This was just her second half marathon.

She debuted in Orlando, where she won that race, and she ran 6812. The story there is she was

supposed to run Valencia, the Valencia half, which everybody knows is a super speedy race, and she

ended up having to pull out of that race

because she got injured a few days before or a few weeks before.

So she decided to do Orlando and then Houston and look where that took her.

She was the second American behind Wainey and was fourth overall at this race.

Man, the half marathon championships in Atlanta and March are going to be crazy. I mean, so many fast women running that race. It's going to be fun to

see Amanda and Wainey and all the other women that are going to be out there running. I know there's

a lot of marathoners gearing up to run who are training for a marathon,

but they're going to throw in the half championships.

There's a lot of people focused on the half.

There's 10,000 meter runners running,
