come from? I'm going to share with you four different views and my personal view on where the

demons come from, but the most important thing from the beginning that I want to mention is

that we are not actually very clear on where the demons come from. We are clear on where

they're going. According to Matthew 25 verse 41 it says that he will also say to those

who are on the left hand, depart from me, you cursed into the everlasting fire prepared

for the devil and his angels. So we are very clear the demons are going to hell,

they will have their part in a lake of fire with Satan. And we are also very clear that we are

commissioned, empowered and anointed to drive them out. As Christians we are given the authority

and the tools to resist demons and to expel them out of other people.

And we can also see them removed from ourselves.

But a lot of times people are wondering, so where did they actually come from?

And so I'm going to share with you four views that are kind of dominant concerning this topic.

The first one is that, or demon spirits are spirits of evil men and women.

This is more of a pagan belief

because Bible tells us that once you die, your spirit goes and awaits trial after death.

Your spirit doesn't roam around. It is appointed for a man to die and then there is judgment

according to Hebrews chapter 9 verse 27. So this is definitely not scriptural but some people,

especially in pagan cultures, believe that demons, evil spirits are simply spirits, disembodied
