Lead thou. Hello and welcome to a special edition of Mormon Stories podcast. I'm your host John DeLyn. It is October 23rd,

and I am gathered with an all-star panel of awesome friends and cool people within Mormonism. We are here to discuss

yesterday's release of several essays by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Yesterday, the date was October 22nd, 2014, and they released upon the world three super important essays

that were long awaited about plural marriage.

In my count, that makes four total essays on plural marriage, and they sort of go as follows.

There's an umbrella essay called Plural Marriage in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints,

which is kind of like an overview.

And then there are three kind of sub-essays.

One is on plural marriage in Curtland and Navu.

One is on plural marriage in families in early Utah, which I think has been around for a bit.

And then it'd be nice if these essays had dates, actually.

But the final one that they released also yesterday was called The Manifesto and the End of Plural

...
