I'm Matt Kirsch and saying this for the second time because I forgot to hit record the first time we said this.

produced by Lewis Black. Yes, that Lewis Black that is going to be out in the spring. It has been

recorded, though, already that this is Afira Eisenberg. How are you, Afira? How's it going? I'm good. I'm good. I feel like a little bit of project hangover. Do you know that thing where you've just put all your time and focus into something and then it's done? And you're like, who am I? Yeah, what do I do now with my life? Yeah, exactly. I've reached all my goals. Are you, well, are you going to be, how involved in the editing are you though? Because like, is this one, because I, are you able to watch yourself for hours and hours and pour over the thing? Or you sort of give it to someone and just go, like, come back to me with a version of it that I can just look over once and tell you which bits to change. Okay, so I've done that and then they give it back

to you and you think you're saving time until you're like, what? No, wrong, what? And then you go

back and do it again yourself anyways. So I can't stand watching myself, but it is, it's

the necessary evil. And yeah, I've taken, I have to

look at it. They sent me the stuff and I will be collaborating on the edit, but the idea of just

finding the will and the strength to watch myself. It's like I need a, I need a two-day rev-up for that experience. I recorded an album that never came out because I couldn't listen to myself. And this is crazy when we're in a job where we're basically asking people to listen to us on a weekly basis or nightly basis. That's so we don't have to. Like we're on this side of it's great. Right. And I think there are some people out there.

Every once in a while I meet someone that basically, I think it's like a, you know, sports,

people that are athletes watch themselves all the time to learn. Like they watch a video, right?

Any video of themselves running or their golf, whatever. That's a huge thing about reviewing.

Yeah. And, uh, and I know, I think mostly guys, but I'm not really sure about this stereotype I'm drawing that are like, I love watching myself. I learn so much. And I'm like, what kind of sociopath are you? Oh, my God. So Andy and I, the other voice in the show here, we used to live together, but I moved into this house about a year before Andy did.
