My friend Suzanne Stott (mother to ten adopted children, in her 70’s, active Latter-day Saints) shares her lifelong service to marginalized groups of people (homeless, incarcerated, refugees, queer, etc) as an active Latter-day Saint. Suzanne was the Grand Marshall of the Utah Pride Parade in 2022. Suzanne talks about following her heart to reach out to those walking a more difficult road and work to improve their lives. He also talks about her testimony of our restored gospel and her prayers for changes in our Church. She talks about her has navigated multiple faith crisis over the years. Suzanne is somebody I got an anonymous letter, and sometimes my people ask me, how do you find guests?

And most of them are inbound communication to me, somebody reaching out, but somebody nominates somebody sometimes. In this case,

it was an anonymous letter talking about Suzanne's work in our community. And as I read that

letter and pondered, I thought, I really need to have Suzanne on the podcast. So this is my idea and

the anonymous guest's idea. And I'm really glad that Suzanne agreed to do this. She is an active

Latter-day Saint, has 10 kids, is divorced. She may talk about that. She's been on her own for a long time.

Most of the podcasts will talk about her work as an LGBTQ ally. I've been on this road for a whole six years.
