I was doing a little digging before we hopped on this call and well, you know, we'd like to know

what we're getting into here and we haven't met formally before, but are you kind of a big deal?

Well, I guess that depends on who you ask and in what context.

So why don't you tell us, I read something about you being like one of the only, only people are the only one to have like your PhD and another degree from Ivy League schools, both Ivy League schools. Is that correct?

Yeah. So it's pretty rare for registered dietitians to also have their doctorate.

I think 4% of RDs also have their doctorate. So that in and of itself is fairly rare.

But then it's very uncommon to have a combined position. So I graduated from Cornell University

in Ithaca, New York, and they have a combined PhD-R-D position, which just means you can

simultaneously earn your registered dietitians credentials to be licensed to practice in conjunction

with your doctorate.

So I was accepted to that position, and it's really selective.

They only take one candidate per year, and so I was fortunate enough to get that position after my bachelor's degree.

And so none of the other candidates or people who have graduated from there have specialized in sports nutrition.

They're much more, well, there's a variety.

I have some friends who they've done like women's health, so like PCOS, polycystic ovarian syndrome.
