| 1:11.4 | its release, has grown to become a cult classic. So, The Fog, what were your first impressions |
| 1:17.2 | on the film? I had never seen this film. Really? I've heard of it. Um, it's all right. I'm not |
| 1:26.3 | gonna, I'm not gonna lie, I'll be honest. honest. Huge commitment. I didn't love it. I mean, it was all right. You know what I mean? It's okay. I don't know. Something about it. I just really didn't connect with me for some reason. Didn't jive. Yeah. But, I mean, it's all right. I like it. I mean, if you look at John Carpenter's catalog, it's not Halloween or the thing. But I think it's a good little... Those are so good movies. Exactly. And this is sandwiched right in between. But I still like it. I think it's a good little, you know, ghost |
| 2:02.3 | creepy story. Yeah, I'm warmer. Obviously, you are, but yeah, I like it. I'm not obsessed |
| 2:11.7 | with it, but I think it's a good movie. I said it was okay. I agree with nay. I think that it is very unfair for it because it was |
| 2:23.5 | sandwiched between those two movies. Yeah, because those two movies are perfect. Yeah, |
| 2:27.6 | it's really hard and it makes it very easy to overlook. Right. I think that's kind of something |
| 2:33.3 | that it has going for it is that it's something so different from those two movies. Yeah. And it shows Carpenter's versatility. True. Because he's like, now I'll do a slasher. You know what? Now I'll do a old-fashioned ghost story. Now I'm going to do a creature feature. You're like, you are just. Why not? Yeah. I just, it's admirable. And I love a good revenge story. Same. I was just about to say that. And the cast, though... Oh, man. I know creep show hadn't been made yet, but it's like, creep show and Halloween, like the cast had a baby, and then the fog came out. Yeah. And honestly, there's some moments in this film that feel very creep show. Agreed. So I don't know if Romero was like taking notes. I love this. Yeah. But I mean, and what's weird to me is that I know we saw this as kids. Uh huh. But it's not one that stuck with me. Right. No. it as an adult, I've kind of got a new found respect for it. |
| 3:27.4 | Mm-hmm. one that stuck with me. No. But revisiting it as an adult, I've kind of got a new found respect for it. |
