Yeah, gosh, I'm really excited about this episode.

Compared to our usual episodes where I'm like, I can't believe I have to go eat this stuff.

I'm Molly and I'm Matthew and this is spilled milk the show where we cook something

delicious eat it all and you people cannot have any and today we're talking about individually wrapped

candies. What are we calling this exactly? Well we've thrown around some ideas. I

think of it as like old lady candy. Yes. Because it's it's what your grandmother or maybe your piano

teacher would have kept in a bowl just inside the front door.

My dry cleaner has a bowl of these candies.

You know, I think my bank used to to and maybe still does. Back when there were

still banks. Yes back when they were still banks. Those great days. Yeah good times.

Anyway I guess you could also think of it as bulk candy in that it's usually sold in sort of big bags,

often sold like on one particular aisle of the grocery store, bins.

Now I think of it as being associated with an end cap at the end of an aisle of the

grocery store and it would be the Brock's bulk candy display,

BRACs, BRACH, and when I was a kid this would be the thing at the grocery store where I would tug at my

mother's arm and say, please, oh please, oh please, can we get some?

When I was a kid, I can't, I don't know if we can be arrested in retrospect for this but my mom

really liked the milk-made caramels which we're gonna be we're gonna be

tasting here in a second the brocks milk-made caramels which we're going to be we're going to be tasting here in a second.

The Brocks milk made caramels and she would go open up the bin and take a couple out and

like just steal them. You just rat it out your own mother. she and I would eat them in the grocery store.
