It was late October 1685 when the fleet of Lohro de Graf and Michelle de Grimau quit Campeche. They gathered together at Eilam

Weirchase just off the coast of modern-day Cancun to divide their plunder.

For everyone it was a disappointing hall. The raid on Campeche had been largely a waste of time.

They'd hardly taken anything of real value, mostly just some logwood.

There was a tension between the crews and they chose to go their separate ways.

It would prove to be the last time that some of these pirates would ever see each other.
