Thank you for watching Courtside, a discussion of the post-election litigation brought by Donald Trump.

It is day 64 after the election.

For these 64 days, I launched Courtside in order to give you the facts, but also because I frankly knew how scared many of you were.

And that's why I gave you some jokes, some lightness, even some song, because I knew you were scared.

And I've tried in these 64 days to reassure you about the outcome that Joe Biden will be inaugurated president on January 20th.

I've never wavered from that, frankly, not even for a minute, on camera or off.

And today, I 100% believe that.

But I also know that that hasn't been the only thing you've been worried about. Even if the

outcome was certain, I think you worried about the path of getting there. And that's what

worried you, too. And that's why my plea last night about how a house divided can stand,

about how America needs to summon its better angels,

and my hope that that would happen.

Well, today, it didn't happen.

Instead, in many ways the reverse happened,

stoked by the terrorist-in-chief Donald Trump.

The day began with Donald Trump's absurd, anti-constitutional, treasonous speech, encouraging a march

on the Capitol and stuff like that, and Rudy Giuliani saying even worse nonsense.

And then, of course, as you all know, the Capitol was

stormed. The barricades breached, guns brought in, two improvised explosive devices came in.

The Confederate flag carried in the U.S. Capitol for the first time. Never even happened

between 1861 and 65, but it happened today. And what does our terrorist and chief Donald Trump do?

He issues a lame tweet that says that the election was stolen for him, and then he has a little
