Welcome everyone to court side to discussion of the post-election litigation brought by Donald Trump.

It's day 63 after the election.

Yes, that's right. The election was nine weeks ago.

The litigation count has moved again with, yes, yet another Trump loss.

He's now one out of 63 cases and his one victory didn't get him any votes. So much winning,

I can't handle it. So this one comes out of Trump's New Year's Eve special. He spent New

Year's Eve suing Georgia, claiming that the signature matching was unconstitutional and a whole

bunch of other bogus claims. The case was argued today. Now get this. Trump

insisted that the courtroom be closed. You couldn't have any dial-in live stream, nothing like that.

The secrecy didn't quite protect him from a blisteringly fast defeat. He lost just a few hours later.

Yes, the case was thrown out for lack of standing,

like many other cases, but the judge crucially addressed the merits. Quote, it is undisputed

that Secretary of State Rastonberger performed a statutory duty in a timely matter. And the judge

also said, quote, to interfere with the result of an election that has already been

concluded and has been audited and certified on multiple occasions would be unprecedented and

harmed the public in countless ways, including potentially disenfranchising millions of Georgia voters.

So yeah, the proceedings today were secret, but I'm guessing the hearing didn't go too well

for Donald Trump.

Trump keeps nonetheless asking for these cases to be expedited as fast as possible because

he wants to get them in front of the United States Supreme Court.
