What do you make of what seems like an attempt to shift responsibility here because the asylum claim was made in 2024 when Biden was obviously president, but it was approved in April of this year?

And feel free to opine on what Trump seems to be saying there also about the nature of the U.S. involvement in how he could have, or Republicans or somebody could have done the withdrawal better than it was executed under Biden.

Beneath all of these people's questions, there is an untenable assumption.

They're talking about vetting.

Veting for what?

I think what they basically must mean is vetting for connections to the Taliban or possibly

for vetting for connections with al Taliban or possibly for betting for connections

with al-Qaeda or the Taliban. Al-Qaeda hardly exists anymore in Afghanistan. It basically

doesn't exist anymore. So they're talking about vetting for connections to the Taliban,

but what they should be vetting for is connections to the real bad guys, which is the CIA and the

special forces. The Taliban were not involved in extradition. I mean, they did execute collaborators

with the United States. Don't get distracted by that. The Taliban is not involved in trafficking

drugs. They basically almost never did that, contrary to enormous volumes of

propaganda that you can easily find with a Google search, or searching the news archives of the

most mainstream newspapers of record and so forth. As I document extensively in my book with

lots of citations, mostly the U.S. government sources. The Taliban was almost entirely

uninvolved in trafficking in Afghanistan. The same thing goes for the child sex trafficking

that was taking place, as well as terrorist attacks. I mean, the people that were served in these

zero units also went over to this group called ISIS K or the Islamic State in the Khorasan

that was doing terrorist attacks not only in Afghanistan, but also in countries like Russia and Iran.

My point is the people that were deeply involved in criminal actions,

the people that had a profile that would make them most dangerous to the United States public
