Summary

Bronx-based Public defender & DSA organizer Delourny Nemorin recently launched her campaign to unseat Ritchie Torres in New York's 15th district. She weighs in on the rest of the field, including Michael Blake, who is emerging as an establishment-left favorite, why she's running, and the needs of the district. 1:54.9	So then I got on my community board. I started exploring politics. And I realized very, very quickly that Richie Torres is not

2:33.5	October 7th, Richie's calling everyone a terrorist, a Hamas supporter, just because we are concerned about the lives of people in Gaza, till this day,
2:37.6	despite international law, he doesn't think it's a genocide. He doesn't think that Israel's
2:41.8	intentionally harming innocent people. Also, New York 15 is the poorest congressional district in the
2:47.8	nation, located in the busiest city in the nation.
