Martin's brilliant interview with 227 marathon running, Steph Davies.

Steph improved her PB from Berlin last year then at 241 to 227 when running Valencia in December 2019.

Joining us on this week's marathon talk interview is Steph Davis. Now Steph

recently ran the Valencia Marathon in a pretty impressive 2 2742 I think she placed 14th it was about

a five minute PB on her previous marathon that she did in

London where she went to 32 38. I think she may well correct me when I bring her in but

I think that was also from the mass start.

Her previous best of that was 241 the previous year in Berlin.

So I'm really excited to find out how you go from running 241 to 227.

Hello, thank you for having me.

Look, that's 227, I think, took you to ninth on the UK women's all-time marathon list. That is amazing.

It is amazing. I mean, what's it like? What's it been like for you since running that time?

To be honest, I think it's still sinking in a bit.

I've kind of grasped that I beat my time at London,

but not quite that I've got ninth all time in the UK.
