Mark, I want to talk to you today about something that you kind of comes out of your mouth from time to time in different form or fashion as you're talking to pastors, but I want to kind of organize that and bringing it together under this topic of sufficiency of scripture and how it affects both the

individual Christian life and the corporate life of the church.

So first, what do we mean by the sufficiency of scripture?

That God has revealed himself in his word, giving us everything we need to know for life and knowing him

and following him.

You say life.

Does it mean it tells me what to eat for dinner, who to marry?

It tells us all the principles that we would use to make those and other like decisions.
