I talk to Linz Eimer about queer stuff! Woo! Hi! Hello! Hi! Hi! Hello! I think you're so much for

having me. This is fantastic. I am so glad to be having you. And for everybody who doesn't want to

immediately run in Google it because you're probably listening in the middle of the night while

breastfeeding or you're crying in a target parking lot both are acceptable. Linz makes queer stuff

for kids and families. And they started on this amazing winding career path when they created

queer kid stuff, an award-winning original LGBTQ plus educational web series for all ages that

has reached millions of families. They perform at library schools and theaters all over the world,

spreading queer joy. I think you have to say it like that. Yeah, that's the best way I've ever heard

that said. That's great. Thank you. And working on numerous projects that bring queer and trans

representation into mainstream children's media. What a what a time to be alive, Linz!

In 2019, they gave a viral TED talk on the importance of talking to kids about gender and sexuality.

They currently write for preschool television and also host the parenting podcast Rainbow

Parentane as well as activists you for kids featuring interviews with youth activists.

Their brand new book is called Rainbow Parentane. Your guide to raising queer kids and their allies

as well as an upcoming children's book called Who Ray For She He Z. Is it Z? I think it's Z.

I don't personally use Neopronons, but I think it's Z. Okay, I thought it was Z, but you know what?

I'm not the expert. I just have teens. Okay, this is not the title of their book. They're not

one. Who Ray For She He Z. And they, you know, you are doing a lot of hard work here at Linz.
