present a Freddy DeBoer? DeBoer? DeBoer? DeBoer, Freddy DeBoer, like a boar, like the

animal. That's my understanding, yes. Boars are cool. Don't they look cool? See, this

is where it should be Joe Rogan said next to me right now. He'll be like, bro, boars

are awesome. You want to see a clip of a boar eating an emu? To Joe Rogan. In many ways,

you surpass him. Anyway, I digress. So really interested to talk to him, fascinating guy.

The more I read of his stuff and the more I read about him, the more I was like, oh, he's

an interesting thinker, for sure. Well, not just interesting thinker. He's got some interesting

stuff that's happened in his life that he's remarkably open in many ways about his short

upcoming and mental illness and all sorts of stuff. So there's plenty of stuff to talk

to him about with politics and plenty of stuff to talk to him about with personal life

stuff. It's funny. You know who's a big fan of Freddy is soccer? Really? Yeah. Interesting.

Soccer has kind of a soft spot for like real Marxist. He likes, he likes people who, I mean,

Freddy has a very strong like class. Well, he calls himself an old school Marxist. That's

how he defines himself. Yeah. So when I told soccer that we were having Freddy on, he's

like, oh, tell him I'm a big fan. Funny enough, there was one political compass test I took

where I was described as a classic Marxist. I believe was the phrasing. There's another

one where I was libertarian. Socialists, I mean, it's all over the place depending on which

one you take. But one, I was a classic Marxist and I was surprised myself. I was like, oh,

it's really? Yeah. I want to ask him about his ideologies. Parents were radical. So he came

up with sort of like, you know, that was in the ether around him. My parents were not. My dad

was a political slash semi-political weirdo who the only time you would hear anything about politics
