One of the things we wanted to talk about is this common comment we hear from, let's say,

intermittent fasting or prolonged fasting all of it is from calorie restriction or

from from weight loss alone.

So yeah, you know, honestly, every time I hear somebody talk about calories, I always think, oh, there's

here clearly don't understand what you're doing because the whole thing is like, you know,

the human body really determines how much fat we have.

It's a very important determinant of survival.

So therefore, if you look in the wild, for example, there's no fat animals like you see with dogs and cats these days.

And there's a reason for that.

If you are a wild animal and you're fat you can't go and catch things. So therefore it's a big

disadvantage to be fat. If you're like a herbivore you still don't want to be fat because the lion will come and eat you.
