Could you please give us a brief background of your service?

Yes, sir, I enlisted in the Army and I was an infantryman assigned to the 101st.

I always learned to fly helicopters since I was a little kid. My dad was in the Air Force, so I was always hanging around flight operations and airfields.

And at the time I didn't have a degree and the only vehicle for me was to go to the Army

in the war officer program.

I just put in my paperwork after about three years,

got selected, went to Fort Rucker.

My first assignment out of Rucker

was flying age for in COBras in South Korea. That was for a year. and

I was for a year and then I came back to the state's transition to Apaches age 64s
