The other book is The Few, the American Knights of the Air, who risked everything to fight

in the Battle of Britain by Alex Kershaw.

This is the story of three Americans who made their way to Britain to fight with the

RAF during the summer of 1940.

The three men end up in either 609 Squadron or 601 Squadron, so he goes into a lot of

detail about those particular squadrons, so it adds nicely to what I've been doing

with my broad strokes.

It covers all the events, but it also gives you a good idea of where the pilots were doing

when they were not in the air.

You won't regret it.
