Well, hello there my friend, friends. Little welcome back to the podcast. I'm pretty sure this is going to be

podcast episode 488 where I want to talk about verbal processing.

Okay, do you know if you're a verbal processor or not? It's really interesting like the older I have gotten, you know at the bright young age of 53 like the more you kind of figure out about yourself and then the more like you're like my whole life now makes sense. I remember when a dear friend of mine just

realized that she has adult ADHD she's like okay this explains like my entire life all

these things that used to not make sense now completely makes sense.

And so I do think it's interesting when we know ourselves, number one, and, you know, in both good ways

and bad ways, and when we have like these aha moments of like how that

affects our day to day and our everyday and and how we can just get really comfortable in

our own skin because we're all like created so differently. So I will tell you that I am a verbal

processor and I did not realize this I would say until about I was probably in my very late 30s

early 40s and the way that I actually figured it out was kind of random

I if you read my book Beers not the boss of you in chapter 8 I talk about the dissolving of a very near and dear friendship to me and how disruptive

that was to my life, how heartbreaking it was, you know, my role and responsibility in it, all the things.

And one of the things I don't think I mentioned in Chapter 8 of Fear, not the law,

of you, is that during that period of our life that was quite honestly like

you were just really hard on me I had never lost a really near and dear friendship you

know I was still like best of friends with my best friend Rachel who I knew all growing up, you know spent so much time with her. It was her family that first took me to a non-nomination
