and I'm Sam Blackwell and today we're gonna answer a letter from somebody who wants to have his affair and his house too.

But before we begin, we just want to give you our Surgeon General's warning, which is that Sierra and I are not licensed mental health practitioners.

No, we are not professionals, we are not trained in any of this,

and we are very often wrong in our opinions.

So please take our advice as you see fit. We're only here to offer our

humble musings to hopefully shed some opinions and maybe some laughs about the incredibly rewarding

but mostly confusing experience that is love.

Yeah.

I think we're ever wrong.

I just felt like, you know, like we're flawed humans with opinions that are inherently

challenged by other people's lived experiences. We have been wrong many times I will tell you

that I will never forget that it is okay to tell your therapist that you have a crush on them.

I know absolutely every therapist that listens to us came out of the woodwork.

Somebody wrote us and they were like, I have a huge crush on my therapist that I tell them my therapist and I were like you know the mortified English majors in us

were like oh my god no it's so uncomfortable don't tell them it'll make it

you know whatever and then every single therapist who's ever listened to us and

their cousins were like actually you should totally healthy yeah I

it's actually important because it's a common thing that happens.

It's called projection and the therapist is equipped to help you work through it and we were like,
