week I talk with Andy Baldacci about how he built and cultivated a mindset for SaaS growth.

And we're going to talk through his journey, going from professional gambler for over a decade,

including poker and fantasy sports, and how he transitioned himself into someone who

really understands SaaS growth.

As you know, in this show, we cater to ambitious startup founders, building ambitious

startups who want to build real products and sell them to real customers for real money.

And Andy Baldacci got on my radar several years ago when I believe he was running growth at Hubstaff.

It was super early days and he was doing a lot of work for them.

If you haven't heard Hubstaff, they're now doing about $550,000 in monthly recurring revenue.

And I believe that they're fully bootstrapped, although don't quote me on that.

But Andy went from being a gambler to starting a blog about growth tactics.

He read a bunch and got a framework in his mind.

He started blogging about how it would grow X company.

And he started going to microcoms and started interfacing with people.

And I've liked his approach and his framework about growing SaaS. He went from growth at Hubstaff to being a growth

marketer at Groove, which many of you have heard of. And then he eventually left because he

bought an app called Sabresim. And we cover all this in the episode, but that gives you context for why I've invited

him on the show, because it's not a traditional founder journey, but it is interesting to hear

someone who has a very structured mindset, but also goes with a lot of his gut feel, as he says.

And he's a growth marketer that I respect. He's also a podcast host, I respect. If you
