Summary

Welcome to the Human Performance Outliers Podcast with hosts Dr. Shawn Baker and Zach Bitter. For this episode, we welcome Jeff Cyr. Jeff was always overweight as a child and at the age of 17 he weighed 345 lbs. In 1997, Jeff was diagnosed with severe lumbar spinal stenosis. By 2004, Jeff was on his third back surgery:

1- Laminectomy and fusion of the lower (lumbar) back in 1997.

2- Cervical neck fusion in May of 2001.

3- Laminectomy and fusion of the mid back area in 2004.

Through diet and exercise, Jeff has managed to make massive changes to his state of health.
