Now first of all that's awesome and a little bit crazy, but second, one of their students

asked a question about Diego Lucifer. If you remember way back we talked

about a pirate in the mid-17th century named Diego Lucifer or Diego the

mulatto. He was a young man born in Campeche. He was refused entry into the Spanish military and instead he chose to turn pirate.

His early piratical career was centered around revenge on the Spanish in general and in particular against one man who had wronged him.

A few decades later, that same name, Diego the mulatto appears on the rolls for Henry Morgan's raid on

Panama. Now I talked about this briefly but one student wanted some clarification.
