And here we are. Here we are. What a treat. Thank you for making time to do this. Well, thank you. I I've been looking forward to it. I just everything is more fun with Annie down.

Thank you. I appreciate it. I've never known life without any down. So I just have to take your word for it. I can't be sure.

Yeah, listen, trust me. I'm on the other side of you. And it's fun. It's fun. Yes. What our friends listening though is we don't record a release shows during Holy Week, but you are the show the day after Easter.

Will you tell me a little bit about what your church is getting to do for the first time this year on Easter? Yeah, 43 years ago, a pastor named Amos Dodge, how to thought that what if we did it Easter sunrise at the Lincoln Memorial on the national mall.

As the sun rises over Washington, DC and this year they asked us national community church to begin hosting that annual gathering. So Annie in all the years of pastoring, this is probably one of the most humbling things ever because when Lauren, I first moved to DC, our first Easter was 95.

And we got up early and bundled up and made our way down to the the Lincoln Memorial. And it was so unforgettable. I just wouldn't have imagined all these years later that we would be able to host that gathering. And so, you know, thousands of people sit on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial, same, same place where Dr. King gave his I have a dream speed. So someone pinch me. It's one of those pinch me moments.

But, but I will say this to be able to declare that the tomb is empty and that we serve a risen savior on the national mall just feels like a declaration of who we are and what we're about.
