Welcome to episode 456 of the whole view as you may be able to tell already today is opposite

day, but it's not just a random opposite day. Today is, I think, a tremendous opportunity

to tap into one of Stacey's many areas of expertise that do not overlap with mine and dive

deep into the topic of foster care. As Stacey, let me know, I had no idea when we talked

about doing this show last week that it is foster care awareness month. And I've realized

that even though I have actually a couple of friends, Stacey, you're not just the only

one who have become foster parents in the last couple of years, that I don't really know

very much about the foster care system. So in an effort to increase awareness and education,

I thought I would go on a wild ride with our listeners and we could do this together and you

can help educate us about this system and your experience as a foster parent. Thank you.

And I also hope to give insight into how it affects all of us, not just those who are

participating actively as a foster family or someone in the system, but also what you can do

if you want to be a part of it, but not necessarily ready to be, for example, a foster parent.

So I mean, that's already one of my questions. Right. So I hope that, you know, everyone listening

will feel more educated after, but also informed on how they can take action if they want to,

which is what we do here on the Bayley of View. I told Sarah yesterday I'm like, you just said
