I'm your host, Lindsay, bringing you another episode in the Year of Plygmy, where we try to

understand the practice of plural marriage as it was practiced in Mormonism.

We've gotten into the Utah period

where there's some dark, dark, heavy stuff.

And so I wanted to bring you a little bit of levity.

We're going to be talking about

some of the polygamous houses that were used and very much tied into polygamy. Some of them you

might have known and some of them you might not have known. But I think that houses might sound like

a very boring topic. But actually these houses, house, if you will,

history, and are really, really integral to the story of polygamy, at least in Utah.
