0:10.0	I wanted to do a podcast because I've been getting so many messages since Elder Holland's talk at BYU,
0:17.2	that it's difficult to answer all the messages I received.

0:28.2	So I felt impressed to do a podcast to perhaps address some of the feelings and concerns
0:33.6	and questions that I get so I can send people to this podcast and perhaps some of
0:38.2	you that haven't reached out to me or reaching out to others or helping other people that
0:43.4	the things I share in this podcast will be helpful for you.
0:47.2	I pray that this podcast will be helpful to bring us together.
0:52.1	For those of you that aren't familiar with me, I'm a married father of six,
0:57.2	three grandchildren, active member of the church, support and sustain our leaders, our doctrine,
1:03.2	and it also want to bring more understanding to the path LGBTQ Latter-day Saints walk
1:09.1	and what we can do to better support them in their journey.
1:13.8	That's really the mission of everything I do.
1:16.7	I haven't done a solo podcast I recognize since about episode 216, December of 2019.
1:24.6	Most of the things that I do are amplifying the voices of other people.
1:29.0	But I felt in this situation, I wanted to just spend some time with you and go through a
1:34.1	number of things. The things that I want to go through are about four or five. Number one is
1:39.0	I'd like to speak directly to LGBTQ Latter-day Saints. Many of you have been reaching out. The next thing I want
1:45.8	to talk about is Matt Easton, who is a friend and some of my thoughts about how we can support
