I believe that scientific literacy is the key to improving public health. Welcome back to the whole view episode 441. We are revisiting our very complex topic that we started last episode,

440, about vaccines. If you did not yet listen to that show, first go listen to it because this is a part two and we go into the science of vaccines and specifically how the MRNA vaccine for COVID-19 functions.

No, we're not here to have an opinion debate.

We all have our own opinions on all of this, but what this show has always been is a scientific

show and we have gotten so many questions in particular about the current US approved vaccines,

the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines that are currently being administered throughout the US.

We're recording this on January 26 for reference of 2021.

And we're also going to answer some of the other questions that you guys have sent in touching on the additional strains and what we know about the science so far on if the vaccines will be effective on one or some of them.

And I know Sarah, you have a ton of notes.

So I just want to remind our listeners

I don't know if you're following Sharon says so but she like has this phrase that I'm just

obsessed with that facts don't have an opinion whether you like them or not they're facts and so
