The Oh, on December 21st, 1992, just four days before Christmas, students at Rohristown Elementary

School in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, were excited to attend their morning holiday school assembly.

Miss Christie Morack, the school sixth grade science teacher, was always punctual and arrived at 8 a.m. each morning.

But she hadn't on that particular day.

After making several phone calls to the young teacher's home and getting only her answering machine,

the school's principal became concerned and decided to make a trip to Miss Morak's house to check on her.

What he discovered was beyond anything he could have imagined.

a man, Christy Ann Marack would assemble her stuffed animals and pretend she was a school teacher, instructing them at the front of her classroom, a make-believe playtime that later

transformed into a career goal for her.

Christie wanted nothing more than to become a school teacher and often worked several jobs while attending classes in order to pursue her dream.

Miss Morak attended Our Lady of Lords Catholic School in Shimoken North Humberland County.

A former high school teacher and coach Bill Gilger recalls her being a bright, generous, and

pleasant young woman.

She had a way of always picking up the mood of other kids and teachers around her, Gilger said.
