Now, for the purposes of today's podcast, I want you to cast your mind back to January of 2022,

and although that typically would not be a particularly mentally taxing

exercise it seems to be in this hyper-accelerating era of non-stop 24-7 distraction, where it is increasingly

difficult to remember back to January of this year in the deepest darkest recesses of the

scandemic after two years of utter lunacy being perpetrated on the world in the name of the scamdemic

and after the spirits and hopes of so many people had been broken after the various pieces of the Orwellian digital

Goulag police state biosecurity tyranny had been slotted into place

vaccine mandates and QR codes, and the threat of global vaccine passes,

and what have you, had been thrust upon the public. So many people were in despair in the absolute depths of depression,

especially in the northern hemisphere winter, especially in a climate like Canada, especially in a political

climate like Canada, where as opposed to most of the rest of the liberal democratic Western world, Canada was not attempting to quietly back away from some of the worst excesses of tyranny it had imposed upon its population, it was actually

doubling down.

Mandates and the threats of various political and legal ramifications for holdouts against those mandates were tightening like a noose around the neck of the Canadian public.

Things had reached their nadir.
