I's mind in the best way and we both felt very strongly that we needed to continue to tackle the concept the concept of body image and topic.

We needed to continue to tackle the concept of body image and topic that I've talked about for a long time, fat phobia, right, like this

continued conversation, but in a scientific way because what we both realized is that there is research and science out there showing how absolutely terrible dieting and fat stigma is and why that is feeding into this

concept of America getting unhealthier and unhealthier over time.

And I know, Sarah, you have a lot of science

But before we kind of fully jump in,

I just also want to say that no matter who you are or what your health situation is, there is no judgment in this show.

And I know that when we do shows like this, I often hear from people who have chronic

illness and are underweight and struggling or who have lost weight because of

an illness and who either appreciate highlighting that weight is not, that weight loss is not associated

with health or who feel that we maybe represent in the opposite direction, which is that because you

and I both have a history of obesity and weight loss, that we under under represent those who are kind of fighting in the opposite direction.

I just want to put it out there that regardless of who you are and what your body looks like, the show today is about just that.

The show is about how our body and our weight does not determine our worth, it does not determine our health. It is a vessel to carry you through life, which we want to be as full and joyous and wonderful as we can possibly make it.
