Hello, everybody. Welcome to Crystal Kyle and Friends. We're going to be talking to the amazing

Jeff Stein today. Jeff Stein is a Washington Post reporter and he's a straight economics

guy and he's the best in that realm that I've ever seen. And if you watch my show or watch

breaking points that you know very well that we always use. We rely on Jeff. Yeah, we rely

on him for a lot. And he is, I mean, he's just really good at his job. Like the way I

just want to, for the record, let me just state this, there's not a single other reporter

from some main publication or some main outlet that I would want on this show, not a

single one. He's the only one who really makes the cut in my mind. I like the outs, like

David Sarota, great, you know, Kelly poster, Jordan Chadden, great, just the sludge, all

of it like the outsider, the people who are really the labor reporters. Who's the one you

talked all the time, Kim Kelly's her name. Yeah. Yeah. She's wonderful. So like there

are outsiders who do great work, but very rarely is there somebody inside the club who's

like just spit and facts. And that's what Jeff Stein does. I might put a couple other

people on that list, but certainly Jeff is at the top of the list. And I want to get

into him like with the nitty gritty of what's going on and what we can expect. Because

no one has better visibility into that than he does. Yeah. So you're going to learn

all about the debt limit, the debt ceiling, what's going on with that? You're going to

learn all about reconciliation. What are we likely to get with possible to get so on and

so forth. So anyway, I really look forward to that. But before we get to that, so Bill

Marr, I mean, it's I'm embarrassed that I ever liked this guy. You know what I mean? But

I know where it comes from though. And we've had this conversation. Yeah. But I know what

you know, when in my early teens and this guy's got that like arrogance and certitude. Yeah.
