Pedestal were only 100 miles away from Malta. But the access needed this too,

so with the sunrise came wave after wave of air attacks.

The attack that further damaged the Tanker Ohio and doomed the merchant ship Dorset

had pushed Commander Edward Gibbs of the Pathfinder just a bit too far. He would be ready for the next
