He's a film critic and author of the book, Hollywood Pride, and will not be commenting on the rumors that he is the next James Bond. It's Alonzo Dorale Day. What's good, sir? I said I wasn't going to comment on that. I know. I'm sorry.

Shouldn't have mentioned it. What's good with me is one of my favorite filmmakers. And the guy who

many have said is the inventor of the video essay, Mark Rappaport, has a new project out that is not a

movie, but it's very, it is steeped in his cinephilia and love and knowledge of the

history of film. It's called Book of Dreams, and it's a

collection of collages where he crosses

images from various films, from various

decades, on, you know, into the same image

with each other, but it's done so in a way that if you think about it,

you can sort of see there are thematic ties or visual ones.

And what it does is a thing that I always loved in

that monster sort of essay movie that Christian Markley made,

The Clock, that 24-hour film,

where it kind of takes our

sort of shared collective notion of the movies and turns it into one giant movie.

And sort of, you know, kind of intermingles things that shouldn't go together, that we're never
