Summary
Cam covers the dark history of the Cecil Hotel in downtown Los Angeles, including several of the eerie murders and suicides that have taken place there, as well as some of its most infamous guests, such as serial killers Richard Ramirez and Jack Unterweger. Ashley goes over the mysterious death of Canadian student Elisa Lam, who went missing from the Cecil on January 31, 2013. One of the only leads that police had was video footage from the hotel elevator on the last night that she was seen alive, showing bizarre and unsettling behavior. The video went viral and led to much speculation about how Elisa ended up naked and dead in one of the hotel's rooftop water tanks.
