There is a lot happening in the news.

Speaking of which, we're almost a Friday.

I like to call Thursday Friday Eve because it gives us a sense of hope like we're going to get there.

But as you can see right there on the screen with us right now is Everett Kelly.

He is the head of the American Federation of Government Employees, the largest

federal employees union in the country. Coming up a little later in the program, I do want to let you

know. I'll talk to former police officers Michael Fanon and Harry Dunn about their efforts to protect

FBI agents here in Washington who investigated the January 6th attack on the Capitol, so stay tuned for that.

But let's just get right into this, starting with Elon Musk's Doge infiltration of the federal

government. This is shaping up to be the first scandal of the second Trump administration.

Nobody elected Elon Musk, as I've talked about on this program many times.

He has not been put up for any kind of cabinet

position, and yet there he is, appearing to have carte blanche, courtesy of Donald Trump, to do whatever

he wants. But to talk with Everett about this, I do want to talk about the breaking news.

The Washington Post reporting, a federal judge in Massachusetts has paused the deadline for the Trump administration's

program offering buyouts to federal employees as a ploy to clear out the federal workforce.

Unions representing hundreds of thousands of federal workers, according to the Post.
