Pipe what do you have for us today? I have a question that is, it's a bit pressing to me because it's something that has come

up recently, and it is, it's kind of a two-part question.

The first part of the question is, why do people love to give unsolicited advice,

particularly about parenting? And second, how do you handle unsolicited advice

particularly about parenting.

Ah, that's good man.

I'll go first in that I still have kids kind of in the house so I have a freshman in high school and a

freshman in college and the way that I handle it so PIP you'll relate to this and

maybe Ron well because he's sort of Midwest

adjacent now. I am pathologically Midwestern so I can't at any point ever

feel I can't make anybody feel like their advice is stupid or forgettable even though it usually is.

So I'll stand there and kind of stupidly nod and stay in the conversation for way longer than I want to and I'll usually even kind of

of low-key lie and say something like oh yeah I'll try that that sounds really interesting while inside having no intention
