You know, I always feel it. I just don't always say it. David, there is so much great stuff this week. It is an action-packed podcast ahead of us here. And I wanted to start with something

that I only just texted you. I'm so sorry about that. It's a list. I don't know if you followed this story, but the New York

Times just put out its list of the top 100 films of this century. And there's a few

California films in there. I wanted to note. And I try never to politicize these things, but there

is a bit of politics in here that you might expect, sort of just, you know, the politics of culture in identifying films that, as you get

closer to number one, they start at the countdown at 100 and they go down to one, obviously.

That's how you do those things.

Sorry about that.

But what was fascinating about it to me is as you get closer to one, the films are more

predictably kind of about class, race, ethnicity, social justice.

Not invariably.

There's some really great films in there.
