I immediately hear the calypso music and I see the ad for Girls Gone Wild.

Right.

So today we are going to be discussing top tier Y2K piece of shit, Joe Francis.

He created the Girls Gone Wild Empire and he really worked his way into the collective conscious

like a worm. Like, he was everywhere. This guy was like, he had kind of put him in the same

category as Rick Solomon. Ew. They, do you know what I mean? Like, I always got the two of them

confused. They're just like gross guys who were kind of surrounded by these like hot celebrity women. And Rick like married a few. Right. And I was kind of like, what are you doing here? And like, why are you always around? Also just proud of being a pervert. Yeah, just sleazy. Just sleazy, I should say. Yeah,

they were just like openly sleazy and accepted. Yeah. Like not in a cool way, just like in a gross way.

Yeah. So I had numerous sources for these episodes. I think it will be two or three episodes.

There's a lot of crimes. Like, I had no

idea how many crimes and trials were happening in this guy's life. So one is a documentary

called Girls Gone Wild, The Untold Story. This is on Peacock. It features the work of journalist

Sachi Cole, who did a lot of writing on him throughout the year. So I've used some of her other work as well.

Joe's own writing on his life that's on his website. It's like pages and pages and pages of his biography. But it was where I could find some of his early life stuff that wasn't anywhere else. There's a Dateline episode I watched.

It's called the Paris Hilton tapes. So we'll get more into that next week. And just a lot of

old news stories and message boards. So I was finding things on message boards where sometimes

these old news stories are deleted, but someone's copied and pasted them

into a message board.
